Colegio Nuevos Horizontes works with an educational approach that encourages entrepreneurship at an early age, creates leaders with moral values, stimulates creativity, motivates inquiry -based learning and guides students to solve problems as well as making assertive decisions. In a constructivist learning environment, this school offers a quality education that develops competencies and assures entrepreneurship training and business thinking.
Whit this in mind, on April 7th, the entrepreneurial elementary/school project, “Entrepreneur Fair Innovative Recipes”, took place at the facilities of Universidad Cuauhtémoc. In this project, students created companies in the food sector supported by the Canvas model, which requires the creation of the company’s mission, vision and business values, competitive advantages, income, costs, customers and product market profile.
During the school year, elementary school students were coached in the creation of projects by Gastronomy students from Universidad Cuauhtémoc and their coordinator Chef Jazmín Espino.
The event was a great success for the community of Nuevos Horizontes and its guests, who could witness the progress of the students in the different areas that comprised their companies.
Colegio Nuevos Horizontes forms a new generation of entrepreneurs in Aguascalientes, who builds and transforms its own environment.
